Symptoms: As larval stages travel through the body, they may cause visceral damage, peritonitis and inflammation, enlargement of the liver or spleen, and a verminous pneumonitis. The worms in the intestine may cause malabsorption and anorexia which contribute to malnutrition.  The worms can occasionally cause intestinal blockage.They can travel through the billiary tree to gall bladder casing cholycytitis.

Ascariasis: The most common are Albendazole (albenza), Ivermectin (stromectol) and mebendazole.  Each can be curative with a single oral dose, but may produce abdominal pain and nausea. None of these is available in the usa without a prescription. Before being treated you should submit a stool specimen for diagnosis. If you are not reinfected this may cure itself if you really have ascaris.

Likely no need.: Depending on the medication used,  the roundworm numbers are decimated or completely removed.  Even if there were a few left after therapy, you may likely be asymptomatic, as is, apparently, the case with slight infections.  Mebendazole is given over 3 days (100 mg PO q 12h x 3 days), and many other meds, like Albendazole only need one dose (400 mg po).  That seems to be all unless re-infected.

Confirm and treat: Visit your doctor or get a infectious diseases referral. Ascaris is uncommon in the United States, but can occur in people traveling from an endemic region. Diagnosis is typically done by identifying ascaris eggs in a stool sample using a microscope.  Treatment involves Albendazole or Mebendazole given over a span of 1 to 3 days. With treatment, expect the presence of dead roundworms on defecation.

my mom had lap chole with cbd exploration due to biliary ascariasis.t-tube output reaches up to 900ml/day, is this normal? she is now two weeks postop

Yes some times: when bile drains out instead of going in , speak to the surgeon may do a cholangiogram( picture of bile ducts )  clamp the the  ' T tube  ' for a while before removing .

Chocolate : This is not scientific but neither is having babies!   Try anything chocolate.   Eat romantic foods.   Avoid alcohol and stimulants.  Relax.  Enjoy being married without children.   The more you relax and enjoy your spouse the better your marriage will be and the more prepared you we be to be a parent.  You are learning patience and you will need it! Usually, no.: Only safe, "generic" answer is that you should decide this in conference with your gyn dr after an assessment. (and your partner, of course.) as women pursue advanced degrees and career standing, pregnancy is routinely falling into the 30's and sometimes 40's. It's what is safe / healthy for you.
