Dengue virus: There are 4 degue viruses. They cause  infection and this is the cause of the very severe joint and muscle aches  which is worse than  viral infection like the flu. They can damage the blood vessels and the clotting factors  may not  work and then there can be bleeding. Fever and rash can be  part  of the symptoms and  a severe form is "hemorrhagic fever". It is an arbor virus spread by mosquitos.

Migratory joint pain: Studies show that a migratory polyarthritis has a panoply of causes.  A careful history and physical exam are indicated promptly. Typhoid fever could cause a reactive arthritis but several questions need to be asked over a series of visits and lab tests to determine your diagnosis. Several etiologies including vascular, infectious,inflammatory, autoimmune, metabolic, idiopathic, neoplastic, etc.

Multiple treatments: Fm is a quirky entity to treat. We really don't know what causes it and a lot of doctors "don't believe" in it. Find a good pain medicine or rheumatology doctor who is familiar with it and follow their advise. Exercise, warmth, decreasing stress and various medications such as cymbalta, lyrica, savella (milnacipran) and narcotics can help somewhat although none are "cures".

Probably unrelated: If the disease is well controlled, it is likely to be unrelated. You did not mentioned what meds your wife is taking so i cannot comment on that area.

Yes and no: Some mild stiffness is not uncommon but more significant knee pain should be evaluated. Exercise induced issues such as tendinitis, bursitis or a flare of underlying arthritis are possible causes.
