Alcohol after bypass: A glass of wine is equivalent to one beer. 1 oz of liquor 45 %of alcohol = 9.Oz of beer or 3-4.Oz of wine (11-13%)
you drink only if you did not ever abused alcohol, i.E taking more than 3beers/day on a regular basis. Long term alcohol abuse turned a heart muscle into a mass of jello, bigger heart but very weakened, besides damaging the heart automatic rythm system, which by itself can kill.

I wouldn't worry: One occasion of a small amount of alcohol is not likely to cause you or your baby any harm.  It is regular use of alcohol. particularly in large amounts, that cause problems.

Accepted Answer

Depends: It depends on the type of supraventricular tachycardia (svt). Some types of svt can be initiated or aggravated by consumption of alcohol, for others it may not effect it. You will likely have to make that determination yourself. Regardless, make sure to use alcohol in moderation for any cardiovascular benefit and to maintain overall good health!

No Associations: Parkinson's is a neuroinflammatory condition affecting the substantia nigra in the brain.  A low Dopamine level is common in these patients.  Oxidative stress may be a major cause but at present no hard core data is exists. Alcohol in general is not medicinal in these patients and although red wine contains antioxidants and resveratrol, their concentrations are not high enough for protection.

i've had facial implants from rib cartilage, will moderate alcohol consumption (1-2 glasses of wine a night) interfere with ossification of the implan?

Should not effect it: To the best of my knowledge, alcohol consumption should not interfere with ossification unless it is marked intake. However, while it is possible for rib cartilage grafts to calcify, cartilage is placed (as opposed to bone grafts) in order to avoid ossification.

SVT can be cured : Svt can be cured permanently by performing a procedure called ablation the procedure will interrupt the conduction the area of the heart where the rhythm start  you will be able to stop the Calan you need to consult a cardiologist who specializes in arehyrhmia management and can perform ablation.

: Don't know why but your body is talking to you. Listen and take good notes then share them with your Dr. Then you all can figure it out. PVCs are considered normal.

See a cardiologist: Request a referal from you PCP, or make an apt to see a cardiologist.  IF you have symptoms that make it hard to function, go to the ER.

No: grapefruit juice would not be combined with Tasigna , no food 2hrs before or 1 hr after , alcohol is not noted to be a concern

No: No effect on semen however while alcohol can inhibit sexual performance.
