is it possible to still use a rowing machine with a frozen shoulder?

Frozen shoulder: I would not advise it especially since you do not have normal range of motion at your shoulder.  Supervised physical therapy sessions that include gradual active and passive range of motion exercises would make more sense.  Getting a cortisone injection to help relieve pain may be helpful.  As your range of motion, strength, and pain improves, then you have less risk of re-injury or worsening.

Lots of options: There are a lot of different tens machines on the market and each manufacturer will tell you why their machine is better than all the rest. I have been unimpressed with the differences. I would check with your doctor or, if you are paying cash for one, look on ebay and try one of the less expensive ones. It may work just fine.

i was doing shoulder press (machine) and i felt pain under my armpit, i stopped workout (20 days back). can u help about my condition?

Difficult to say: Arm pit pain can be rather difficult to diagnose. You wouldn't expect a muscular injury in that region from shoulder press, but the underlying shoulder joint and deep shoulder stabilizers could have been injured. If you still have symptoms 3 wks out, you better get checked out.

Stretching Technique: If you are young and healthy you might benefit from specific stretching techniques. Try pulling your arm across your chest with the opposite arm until you feel the stretch and hold for a count of five then take a deep breath and relax. Repeat the process 5 times per set 2 sets per day for 3 days. If the pain presists or is getting worse have you doctor examine you.

Yes.: It can improve muscle and nerve function, and improve circulation to the area. A damaged area of tissue will have altered voltage on the surface of the cells. The status of this voltage can affect healing, especially if it is low. I do not see much downside to using it in conjunction with other therapy.

while i was using my electric stim machine on my shoulder,  i placed the electrode near my bicep tendon where it connects to my shoulder. the voltage wasn't too high but i still feel a tingle travelling down my arm. could i have caused nerve damage?

: Doubt that you could do damage to nerves by an FDA approved stimulation device. You may have over stimulated a nerve, resulting in these abnormal sensations. They should resolve in a few days, if that long. No lasting damage or sensations would be expected.  Good luck

It depends: These symptoms could be caused by many things, including a rotator cuff tear, frozen shoulder, or several other possibilities. I would suggest that you see an orthopaedic doctor asap in order to get x-rays and a physical exam.

Many possibilities: Pain to the shoulder when lifting can have many possible causes, including a strain or tear of any number of muscles, tendons, or ligaments. Also possible is bursitis of the shoulder, arthritis in the joint, shoulder impingement, or a nerve pain. Best to see your doctor so that an examination can be performed.
