i had midcycle bleed every other month for years before i had kids.they found a tiny polyp in 2017 but drs said the bleeding was most likely do to ovulation not polyp. after having both my kids (2018&2021) i had one episode and no more.sign of cancer?

: Do not think an absence of bleeding would be a sign of cancer - what you are experiencing is called mittelschmerz, a common condition associated that can be associated with pain and or bleeding mid-cycle

Not yet: You do need to get a diagnosis. Don't procrastinate and you should be fine; if this is cancer and you've kept up surveillance, you are still by far more likely to have a good outcome.

Maybe probably not: Fluid around the lungs is often secondary to infection, trauma, heart failure  The build up of fluid in the pericardium may be due to heart failure, a viral illness, pneumonia but its not that likely. The fluid should be drained and tested they can see is cancer cells are in there and what it is composed of.

No: Here in kansas city, a majority of us have one or more nodules from histoplasmosis, a local fungus that most of us handle easily.

Mgt/workup: Fluid collection around the lung may indicate malignancy but also may be due to infection/inflammation. A sample can be sent to the lab to determine the cause.

: If possible, try a different mattress, a firm one is preferred. Perimenopause is less likely the culprit. Take care.

barium swallow test results said esophagus has normal mucosa and no gerd. does that mean no tissue changes and no sign of cancer? endoscopy was normal also. could they have missed something? ive been having chest pain in 1 spot middle of my chest?

: Normal means normal. The endoscopy would pick up anything the barium swallow might miss. There are other reasons for focal pain that your doc should discuss with you. I would not consider cancer when these tests were normal.

is there a link between colon and uterine polyps and lung cancer? does tendency for polyps at early age raise likelihood of cancer, specific, general?

Some colon polyps...: ...Can develop into colon cancer and if a patient has multiple polyps, they could carry an inherited trait (fap, attenuated fap, myh, and others) which can increase the risk for other cancers. To my knowledge, though, lung cancer is not one of those.  Smoking is your main risk factor. If you do, pleeease quit.
