what is the benefit of high knee jacks exercise ?

Several: You can get similar benefits of exercise with high knee jacks as with jogging but with less stress on your joints.  They also strengthen your arm, leg and abdominal muscles and don't require much space.  You can adjust the intensity of your work out by varying the speed.  With athletic shoes, sports wear &amp; an even surface, 20 minutes of high jacks give you a good, safe &amp; efficient workout.

: Is dislocation an accurate diagnosis? Either way she'll need help getting down with no weight bearing and then onto the hospital emergency room for examination and an X-Ray. If available, apply cold compresses to reduce pain,swelling and lessen inflammation.

Find your position: NMS but I would suggest that you try different positioning to find out which position works best for you (pillows etc). Obviously getting the tendonitis controlled would be the best option.  Have you try NSAID?   ( a topical NSAID may work as well but not approved for those under 18)  .  Good luck.

i have a bad knee from a falling injury about 6 years ago. it only hurts when humidity high. can i move into a home with stairs or is this unwise?

Avoid stairs: If you have already having difficulties with your knee from the previous injury, stairs may pose a bigger and bigger challenge in coming years.  Would recommend a single level home to avoid needing to go up and down stairs on a regular basis.

19mo old complains of daytime knee pain. mostly in the tub or in high chair. sudden and severe. no known injury. other than growth what could this be?

Uncertain see peds: You need to see your  pediatrician to see if your child needs  a rheumatology or orthopedic evaluation. Since she is otherwise active  and has  no other limitations  I suspect it is physiologic and no inflammatory joint disease. Even though the pain is in the knee sometimes hip problems can radiate to the knee.

is taking 100mg of magnesium 3x a day dangerous for a 60yr old woman? she has osteoporosis in knees too..

Usually not!: Unless kidney disease was present, the magnesium (300 mg) is less than the daily requirement.  Magnesium has major health benefits! most americans ( 60+ %), do not get enough in their diet!

Hard to say: Not all knee injuries are the same. Some will resolve without many long-term effects while others won't. What is clear, is if your knee is painful or it limits your recreational or occupational activities, then you should see your local orthopedist.

Depends: Multifactorial issue.  Depends on exactly what was injured, the extent/anatomy of the injury, associated joint surface/cartilage injury, preexisting joint damage ; whether any/all reparable.  In addition, whether repairs done, compliance with post op rehab/bracing and other patient factors like bmi, diabetes, wound care.  If all repaired by experienced surg., no joint damage ; pt. Complies; yes.

Tendon/Meniscal: Have you seen a doc for this? It could be a number of things depending on the history (for eg. Was there any trauma? Any fevers/rash? Does the knee ever lock? Is there any pain?). 
Most likely a tendon or meniscal injury.
The best imaging technique is an mri, however a physical exam may reveal the diagnosis.

Get evaluated: See an orthopaedic surgeon and have your knee examined for a proper current diagnosis.  Physical therapy may be of benefit.
