Can be but many ...: There are many reasons for frequent nose bleeds and leukemia is one of those reasons.  But there are many much more common etiologies.  You should see your primary doctor or an ENT specialist to have this evaluated.

Nose bleeds: I'm going to resume that your 'friend' is  near to your age. Even if they are twice as old I would think cancer is NOT the most likely diagnosis.  The most benign possibility is friable nasal tissue that bleeds chronically (and he could cough that as well). More seriously, they may  have abnormal blood coagulation for many reasons. See  a doc for evaluation.

8 yr kid - bad allergies , i gave her flonase. had a nosebleed.  stopped it , had another bleed a few days later .are nosebleeds sign of cancer?

Unlikely: To be clear, yes, nosebleeds are a potential sign of cancer, but rare in a child that age and with other more likely cause. Flonase can easily dry out the lining of the nasal passages - this is a common side effect. Allergies can also do this. It is important to keep the nasal passages moist. Many have swabbed Vaseline in the nasal passages with a Q-tip or used nasal saline with great results.

i had a negative hiv ab/p24 ag screen come back 40 days post possible exposure. the test came back in less than 24 hours which worried me and today i started having a nose bleed. should i get retested and are nose bleeds a sign of hiv?

: No. A negative result at 40 days is about 99% accurate. Nose bleeds are not uncommon in otherwise healthy people.

Yes: Nosebleeds, pain and nasal bockage are symptoms of nasal cancer. It is a rare disease. If these symptoms are ocurring you should see an ENT specialist.

Hard to tell: If I saw your husband in the urgent care I would check his ear, nose , throat area and potentially get blood work. Otherwise its quite hard to make any other recommendations. See your doctor as soon as possible.

Nose bleeds: A very common cause of recurrent nose bleeds is excessive dryness of the nasal membranes from heating or air conditioning. Adding a humidifier and applying a small amount of white petrolatum(Vaseline) to the nasal membranes each night helps. If frequent nose bleeds continue have your blood pressure checked and getting a nasal examination by a physician or Otolaryngologist is recommended.

Nose bleeding: the most common reason is trauma. Other reasons are allergies causing dryness in you nose, making it is for bleeding. Using humfier and applying neosporine to the inside of your nose will help
