Atlhough cramping: Can occur in early pregnancy- it is not diagnostic for pregnancy. Swollen ovaries is not an indicator of pregancy.  If you  miss your period - take a home pregnancy test.

No: In general, the first manifestation of pregnancy is a missed period. In the right setting (patient engaged in an unprotected sexual relationship), the patient should be checked for a pregnancy test as soon as she misses her period. For specifics, please consult with your doctor.

Maybe: Pregnancy tests like all tests can have false negatives, meaning you could be pregnant when it says you're not!  some tests are more accurate so we usually repeat the test with a more accurate one.  An ultrasound can give us a lot of information, not just about pregnancy.  It may be the right test for your condition but if you have doubts, why don't you ask your doctor if there is an alternative?

Possible: Many women will experience cramps and pressure very early in pregnancy due to the uterine enlargement and to the presence of a corpus cyst on one of the ovaries. That would be normal, but could also be normal due the to impending menstrual period if a conception did not occur.

No: Its not normal to be able to "feel" your ovaries EVER!
Minor aches and pains can occur in the pelvis or low back any time !!!!!!

Can be normal: Many women will experience pelvic  cramping early in the first trimester.  It is important to have an ultrasound confirming the pregnancy is developing in the uterus and not in the fallopian tubes.

Clomid (clomiphene) cycles: If your ultrasound revealed "11" follicles of "10 mm" dimension, and this was after taking three doses of 50 mg. clomid (clomiphene) on days 5-7, check for pregnancy on day 28-30 of this cycle with a serum HCG test.  The current cramps may be due to multiple ovarian cysts from ovulating follicles.

Most commonly: Aside from pregnancy, the most common causes of new persistent lack of menstruation in a young women are either extreme athleticism (aggressive exercise every day) or being dangerously underweight.  Regardless, what you are describing is a reason to visit a primary care doctor (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or OB/GYN) promptly for an assessment, because this is not normal.

Other causes are...: Pregnancy is the most common cause of a missed period. If not pregnant, other causes of a late or missed period include:  excessive weight loss or weight gain, increased exercising, emotional stress, having an illness, traveling, medicines (especially birth control pills), hormonal disorders, etc…  A visit to one’s Ob-Gyn doctor is a good idea if symptoms are persistent, recurring, or worrisome.
