Needs evaluation.: It's unlikely that a cancer would pop up so quickly and so dramatically.   But, it could be an abscess, which would require antibiotics and perhaps incision and drainage.  An abscess can present in this area as a painful lump, and this would pop up quite quickly.  You should go to see a surgeon very soon.

hi i noticed i have a sore spot in my upper left arm kind of near the muscle. when i push on it it feels like a bump is under the skin or its swollen there. is this likely to be cancer? its painful to the touch. no visable lump?

: Cancer is unlikely but it is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without examining you. You may watch and wait. If the sore area more than doubles in size, you get fever, lose weight or other sore areas appear, see a doctor.

See your doctor: It sounds like a infected cyst that needs I&D  antibiotics or some thing else either way  have to see your doctor.

Folliculitis: This is usually from an infection of a hair follicle inside the nostril. Keep your fingers out of your nose. Use a water based gel to keep  your nose moist and if it doesn't improve you may need an antibiotic. Staph bacteria in particular like to reside there.

It's not cancer: About a half of males will undergo a transient  nipple/breast enlargement  at the onset of puberty. Normally it will  resolve slowly as other hormonal changes kick in over about  a year. Less often it can persist over 3 years and surgery may be needed for cosmetic improvement. Carrying around extra weight can aggravate the issue as fat can masquerade as breast tissue.

Breast Lump: All new breast lumps should be examined by a physician.  They can be caused by many things - infection, cysts, cancer.  Some patients may be feeling ribs or normal breast tissue when they are concerned with a lump.  If a person finds a lump that  is red or hot - it is more concerning for an infection and they should go to urgent care for evaluation, otherwise make appt with their PCP or GYN.

Almost unheard of: in a person of your age.  However, infection is a real possibility.  You have health insurance coverage.  You should see your GP and have this checked out.  Good luck!

Not usually: Bryce:  a lump that is close to the nipple where a lot of nerve endings are located can be painful and one closer to the armpit where there are also a lot of nerves can be painful.  A lump in the main part of the breast is usually painless, hard and non-movable.  Any lump should be checked out though.  I recommend you call it to your doctor's attention so that appropriate testing can be done.

im 17y. i have elongated lumps both side of my groin and under them smaller lumps bigger lumps  2-3cm smaller 1cm.i can move them.cancer? not painful

See doctor: Bilateral lymphhnode enlargement needs to be investigated. It could be due to infection and tumor of lymph glands cannot be excluded from what you described. Please consult your doctor.
