Suggest to your dr to consider giving u muscle relaxers and/or opioids usual causes of back pain are muscle strain &ddd/degenerative disc disease/ arthritis of the spine.Though the name sounds dreadful, fear not! people don't die from it. Continue with what u r doing.Maintain good posture, massage and physical therapy may help if it worsens, x-ray and/or MRI of the spine may b warranted.

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests.  Regular aerobic exercise may help in controlling low back pain. It may take three months of regular exercise to see benefit.  It would be prudent to see your doctor.

Back Pain relief: Back pain plagues us all one time or another; many doctors advise you to use moist heat on the area to loosen up the tight back muscles; but when it comes to medications, it varies depending on your health status.  Some patients are given prescriptions for ultram as an anti inflammatory, others are given flexoril. Patches with pain meds can also be used. Narcotics can be given with limited use.

Yes: Yes, cannabis can be very helpful for pain but at times it is not enough and can be combined with other medications. It can have a synergistic effect and may reduce the dose of other medicines needed. Consider forms high in CBD, which, while effective for pain, are less psychoactive. Cannabis can also be used topically, which again is not psychoactive yet can be very helpful for pain.

Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

Yes ..but: I am reluctant to use any but acetaminophen can be used in small amounts. Many times distraction with a little sugar water will also help. Most fussing in infants is more behavioral /communication frustration than pain. We assume there is pain but I always look for another reason. The average 1 mo fusses for 1-2 hrs/d for no reason.

i was dx with fibromyalgia & i am not getting pain relief from my currant medications. would celebrex (celecoxib) be an option?

Off-label Rx: Celebrex (celecoxib) is commonly used to lessen the pain of people afflicted with the pain of fibromyalgia. However, Celebrex (celecoxib) has not been approved by the FDA to treat fibromyalgia, so this use would be an off-label prescription. Always before beginning any new drug, it is important to review your medical history with your doctor.
