i just put apple cider vinegar on my painful back sprain, how long does it take to heal?

Usually 8 weeks: Most back sprains heal in 8 weeks no matter what treatment is used as long as you do no re-injure it. This explains why so many methods claim to heal sprains.
The main ingredient of acv is acetic acid. However, vinegars also have other acids, vitamins, mineral salts, and amino acids.
Some small studies have hinted that apple cider vinegar could help with several conditions, such as diabetes and ob.

i have had flat warts on my legs for ten years. i've used  duct tape and apple cider vinegar for two months. it helps but new ones come back. help?

See a Dermatologist: Flat warts can be a real challenge.  First, shaving over warts tends to spread them.  Second, topical wart preparations can be cumbersome to apply and are less effective for this type of wart.  I would see your pcp or a dermatologist to talk about options.  Prescription medications and in-office procedures could solve your problem.  Good luck to you.

i developed a yeast infection 2 weeks ago. used travacort but it would come back. i stopped using it and switched to canalba 2 days ago. i now keep getting watery discharge. drinking apple cider vinegar diluted in water. is this discharge normal?

See a doctor: The active ingredients in Travocort and Canalba are similar; if one didn't help, the other will not. Vaginal yeast usually causes itching and irritaiton, little if any discharge. Whether or not it was yeast initially, something else probably is the cause now. (STD?) If the discharge is new and different to you, it's not normal; see a doctor. Water with vinegar won't treat any vaginal infection.

i quit taking protonix (pantoprazole) two weeks ago the burning in my throat is back, dr. suggested apple cider vinegar to help but i makes it worse. any suggestions?

Slow transition: Sometimes it's better to taper off the Protonix (pantoprazole) gradually to prevent a rebound reflux problem. Another option is to take otc antacids  like zantac or Pepcid symptomatically for a while.  If all else fails, then you may need  to stay on protonix (pantoprazole).

recently, i had an acute episode of partial regurgitation of a mixture of lemon juice/apple cider vinegar. i had taken it as a suggestion from a youtube video to combat gout. the mixture obviously came into the back of my throat and burned the cords.

Time for ENT consult: you will require endoscfopy of the nose/throat area ans also upper endoscopy for evaluation of gastritis/GERD.
Why were you drinking lemon juice/apple cider vinegar ?- for gout? I suggest immediate evaluation and reconsideration of therapy for gout.

No, but: Why would you drink it unless you just like the taste, it's of no clinical benefit for any known medical problem. In excess, it could also cause you some discomfort. Why would you want to drink it? Don't get your medical information from friends, tv or the internet.

will heinz apple cider vinegar work like braggs apple cider vinegar?

Not entirely but...: Bragg's is raw/unpasteurized whereas I'm fairly sure Heinz is pasteurized. Pasteurization degrades some nutrients and enzymes that are beneficial. Also, Bragg's is organic whereas Heinz is not, and apples are in the EWG "Dirty Dozen" and high in pesticide residues. 
Heinz should have many of the same benefits but, given a choice, I recommend Bragg's.

Dubious remedy: If you believed the claims made for this ancient stuff, you would be reading uncritically. Scientific medicine has much more to offer; if you choose to supplement, get with somebody who really knows evidence-based holistic practice.

Accepted Answer

Gout: can be helped with drinking fluids to flush out uric acid to reduce symptoms. I have no direct knowledge of using Apple cider vinegar as a benefit, however, I have hard that cherry juice may help reduce symptoms. Best to ask your doctor if you are not sure.

DGL: DGL is licorice w/an enzyme removed which could raise BP if taken over a long period of time.  DGL is used as a natural replacement for acid blockers.  It coats the stomach and esophagus.  Peace and good health.  If you are on an acid blocker and switch (ask doc first) you may have a rebound effect for a while. Apple cider vinegar 9get it "w/the mother" is also used.  Put it in a little water.
