Yes, but: There are many appetite suppressants on the market but you must be very careful. Do not try any of them without first speaking to your physician. They can often raise your blood pressure which would be a problem with hypertensives.. Ask first before you do anything.

Height &amp; weight: You did not provide your height and weight to evaluate your BMI. Being skinny is not an illness. If you are otherwise healthy, let it be. As you grow older, you will gain weight and look back fondly at this time.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

An approach....: First make sure you don't have a severe life- threatening illness preventing you from gaining weight. That will require seeing a clinician. Once done consider other variables:  dietary protein, digestion, absorption. 

I start with a plant based, anti-inflammatory, low glycemic, hormonally correct protein powder (1-2x/day) that is also chock full of vitamins, trace minerals, and enzymes.

No....: 8 month old doesn't need any appetite stimulant. As long as she doesn't have any issue/disease, e.G metabolic, gi, respiratory, cardiac, etc, not to worry. Check her growth chart: height, weight, head circumference, if these falls within the range, she is ok. She can have cereals, mixed pureed table/jar food, milk. 6 months and above kids get protein.

Talk with your: prescribing medical provider if you have excessive weight loss on adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) - it might  not be the best medication option for you.  Take care.
