Can't treat at home: A mucocele is caused by a blockage of thick mucous saliva produced by one of many small salivary glands in the lower lip. Though it might make sense to simply drain the saliva causing the cyst-like swelling of the lip, a cure of the problem is only possible by surgically removing the small gland producing the saliva that cannot drain.  See your oral surgeon while it is swollen.

Cyst under nail: If it is painful ask your doc to remove the nail (under local anesthesia,of course). It will grow back, and the relief will be immediate.

Hmm: Not likely, but possible.  If it is significantly on the inside of the lip not likely.  Even if it is closer, it will not likely change appearance.  However, if it is big and there is a lot of dissection, the scar tissue might change the appearance slightly.

See Plastic Surgeon: A qualified plastic surgeon will conceal the incision(-s) so they are minimally visible or not visible. The stitches do not stay for more than a few days, so do not impact the final appearance--same with mild swelling after the procedure. Talk to plastic surgeon.

Many factors involve: There are many factors involved, how was the diagnosis made? Ct? How big is the perforation, was it localized? I will discuss all of these factors with the surgeon who treated him.

Cheek blister?: Why are you waiting so long to get this examined? And why are you self-diagnosing?
Any lesion in your mouth that has not healed within 7-10 days, and especially one that changes in shape and/or size, needs to be examined clinically and possibly biopsied.
See your dentist or an oral surgeon ASAP for a proper diagnosis and treatment.

i had surgery last nov and had a t1n1 tumor (2 mm) at the base of my appendix.  i finished 12 treatments of folfox.  what are my chances of a cure?

Probably good: It is unusual to have spread to a lymph node from such a small tumor.  I need more information about the surgical procedure and the type of cancer to give a proper opinion about your prognosis.  However, with just 1 node involved, and a proper surgical resection and chemotherapy, your outlook is much better than if 4 or more were involved.  Your cure rate could be as high as 75 or 85%.
