Accepted Answer

No: Ototoxicity may be temporary as occurs from an overdose of Aspirin improving by just stopping the aspirin, or it may be persistent or even permanent as from toxic doses of streptomycin, gentamicin, or furosemide. I'm not aware of any medication you can take, prescription or over the counter, that will help.  Avoiding further exposure especially at toxic doses is the key.

Accepted Answer

Not as strong: Topicort is a topical steroid cream.  It is what we consider, depending on the concentration, a moderate potency steroid cream.  You could purchase a Hydrocortisone 1 % over the counter but it will not be as efficacious as your topicort.  Find out if your dr has any samples available, or co-pay cards to reduce the price of the topicort.  So yes, you can try the hydrocortisone, but it may not work.

Yes: A few places on the internet sell minus power lenses to help with long distance.  It is difficult to select the correct power therefore a refraction with your eye doctor may be the best bet.  Over powered lenses can contribute to eyestrain and headache.

For some : Some patients, children and adults. Are able to find benefit in dietary interventions and the use of supplements.  Some foods are more likely than others to have affect on behavior and focus and attention. Because it can be overwhelming to decide which interventions to try a provider familiar with the options can save you time.

Reducing Anxiety: Valerian root, Passionflower &amp; Chamomile are some natural approaches to anxiety. 
Talking therapy ranks really high. Cognitive Behavioral therapy or psychotherapy can be effective. Aim for daily exercise, 8 hours of sleep per night &amp; good nutrition w 5 servings of veggies &amp; 4 of fruit per day. Try tai chi, yoga, Qi Gong, progressive muscle relaxation, deep breathing exercises &amp; meditation.

Depression: Best approach isto have parents take you to see a Mental Health Professional for proper diagnosis &amp; treatment recommendations. There are many over the counter mood enhancers but all come with a price to pay, SIDE EFFECTS.

Here'sALaundryList: There are all kinds of suggestions floating out there on the net,like decreasing sugar intake,increasing tyrosine intake,stress reduction(duh),cutting back on caffeine, SAM-e,St. John's Wort, meditation, more sex,less sex, tyrosine foods (bananas,almonds,beans, etc),exercise, improved sleep habits,hypnosis,and on and on--so you'll have to do some research.Not all those claims are backed by science

No: If  you are not pregnant,  check in with your ob-gyn  and see how important it is to have regular periods.  If regular periods are important than consider birthcontrol pills to regulate you.   If inducing a period is important to you  your doctor will prescribe medication that can help with that.  If you are pregnant see your doctor for prenatal care.

Suggestions: Beta blockers seem some of the very best drugs to deal with "stage fright", but there are many other choices than propranolol, which has many side effects.  Try options such as metropolol or timolol.
