Yes and No: Your pschiatrist knows your situation best. Your anxiety may have been a prodrome for the psychotic illness you are mentioning. Psychotic breaks can be precipitated by stressful events leading to anxiety.

Resources?: I admit to knowing nothing about the resources available to you and that matters! If you can, find a Clinical Psychologist w/ excellent diagnostic skills. Then, w/ a solid Dx - build a holistic treatment plan for you that ideally includes health issues. Therapy as part of it will coordinate the aspects to achieve balance. I hope you can find good help for the next 16 yrs (move on from the past.)

Treatment NOW!: Depression with psychotic features, is by definition severe. Severe depression indicates the need for aggressive intervention with the combination of individual psychotherapy and psychotropic medications, including antidepressants and likely, at least temporarily, antipsychotic medication. These medications may  be sufficient to help with the anxiety, but sometimes anxiolytics are also required.

Advice at med school: When was the last time you spoke or saw one. I believe you might have a medical school hospital in medford. Make an appointment with a psychiatrist from the med school hospital for the best advise and treatment. If i'm wrong about the med school hospital find where it is and get seen.

Psychotic: Paranoia may make you distort reality in a delusional (fixed false belief) or psychotic kind of way. Depression may or may not be psychotic depending on severity and type of accompanying symptoms.  Some depressed people, for instance, may think they're already dead. Obviously this is a delusion since they're alive telling you they feel this way. Anxiety/ocd can be severe but not usually psychotic.

Likely not: Your baseline personality remains the same. When u taper off on the medicine do it slowly. Follow up with your psychiatrist. These may help you- get enough sleep , stay active and exercise , smile and laugh more often, live each day for tomorrow may not come, watch comedy shows on youtube, do meditation and deep breathing exercises!

Suicidal: Please have someone you trust accompany you to the Emergency Room or to a Psychiatric Hospital where you can be cared for in a safe environment. If there is no one around then please call 911.

Many side effects: Both of these drugs have many possible serious side effects with tachycardia being among them. Psychiatrists prescribe these drugs for what they diagnose as schizophrenia &amp; bipolar disorder. There are no biological markers to confirm these diagnoses &amp; the side effects of these drugs are potentially so serious that I recommend "Natural Mental Health Mental Health" prevention &amp; treatment instead.
