What's done for severe depression with psychotic features and anxiety?

Treatment NOW!: Depression with psychotic features, is by definition severe. Severe depression indicates the need for aggressive intervention with the combination of individual psychotherapy and psychotropic medications, including antidepressants and likely, at least temporarily, antipsychotic medication. These medications may be sufficient to help with the anxiety, but sometimes anxiolytics are also required.
