EEG: Episodes of light hotheadedness are occasionally due to epilepsy and acephalgic migraine.  In both cases the EEG is often abnormal (H response with photic flash and abnormal response to hyperventilation with acephalgic migraine with aura) Other reasons for "fainting" include dysautonmia due to neuropathy) No sure why an MRI was performed with your history) Did you see a neurologist?

i have had pressure in the back of my head, and neck, and also dizziness over the course of a month. i have had ct scans of head, ct scans of abdomen, ekg's, blood work. all normal, accept for elevated hct, rbc, and hgb. is this just my anxiety?

: Probably. If you have pushed to have these tests done with only the symptoms described they are not providing the real answers you seek. Many with anxiety look to a medical reason to explain it when it has nothing to do with the cause. It is just more socially &amp; personally acceptable to have a medical issue than to work with a life coach &amp; explore other potential triggers.

Multiple things: Sounds like at least there is pain and anxiety involved which may be affecting all your other systems.  Have you considered an appointment with a doctor....or your doctor?  Conservative techniques such as relaxation maneuvers, visual imagery, and of course, appropriate treatment for the pain depending upon what's causing it.  Good luck.

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Drink more water. Wish you good health!

: You should see a competent ENT doctor to see if you have meniere's disease. You may have other inner ear or central nervous system disorders. You probably need an MRI of your head.

Yes: Usually you have inner ear issues but occasionally  the vertebral artery can be compressed by spurs in the neck can  lead to these symptoms.  Ct of the cervical spine or  MRI would be helpful.

Possibly: Balance and dizziness issues are related to 3 general areas. There is inner ear input, visual input, and musculoskeletal input. A problem in any area can cause confusing signals to your brain and make  you feel dizzy. In your case, it could be another inner ear problem- not bppv according to your md- or may be related to cervical(neck) musculoskeletal issues.
