tpo antibody; 22.8 (normal range less that 9), tsh 2.24 (normal range 0.38 - 5.33), antithyroid antibody 4.2 (normal range less than 4), transferrin sat 18.2% (normal range 20-40%). could these results cause unwanted symptoms? thank you?

: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, you are at risk of developing thyroid deficiency and should follow your doctor's advice for repeat tests.    Wish you good health!

is my thyroid level okay? 27f 5'4 109lbs. ft4 is 0.79 ng/dl, tsh 3.31 uiu/ml. (tested day 3 of cycle) are my thyroid levels are normal or optimal? i heard tsh above 2.5 might not be optimal for women? should i get tested for antithyroid antibodies?

: You did not state what prompted your health care provider to order thyroid function test.  Free T4 and TSH levels are in normal range.
Your provider is to decide any further testing depending upon clinical scenario.

Yes: Most of the antibiotics are safe to take along with the thyroid medicine, provided you are not allergic to that particular antibiotic.

MIC: This number is called the minimum inhibitory concentration (or mic).  It means the lowest concentration of antibiotic that inhibits the growth of the organism.  In general, the lower the mic, the more sensitive the organism is to the antibiotic.  There are other factors that go into choosing an antibiotic however, so choosing the antibiotic with the lowest mic is not always best.

Consider these other concerns: Any temperature, achiness of body, do you bring up phlegm-is it colored? If you repond positivilly to one or more of these symptoms contact your PCP for appointment and medication.

i thought achr modulating antibodies are not supposed to be in the blood at all. im trying to ask why would i have achr modulating antibodies in my blood, even if its in the normal range? why would i have detectable levels of them?

: We all have low levels of antibodies that are reactive with our tissues and cells. These antibodies are useful in removing old and dying cells.

Immune response: ASO titer is your body's immune response to the infection and will  decline slowly  in weeks and even months after the infection has gone.
