i had a sinus infection early november, took all of antibiotic now have dry mouth agsin and runny nose, why?

See allergist: You might or might not have had a sinus infection or the sinus infection was not treated with the right drug.  If you do have runny nose often, i suspect you may have nasal congestion as well leading to mouth-breathing and dry mouth as the result of it.  Nasal congestion itself can lead to sinus infection.  See your doctor or an allergist.

i have dry mouth and throat and pale tongue, could this be a side effect from my antibiotic azithromycin. if so last dose is today, is it safe for me to take it? it a 3 day dose.

Side effect: This could be a side effect of the antibiotic.  You will get the best answer from your doctor or your pharmacist. Call and ask if you are concerned about taking the last dose.  Remember this medication will stay in your system for several days.

how do i know i have oral thrush, been on antibiotics for 14 days for sinus infect, excessive dry mouth and throat, no other symptoms.

See a doc: Generally oral thrush causes whitish coating in mouth that can be somewhat painful.  You should be further evaluated by a doc.  Either see a local doc or contact a HealthTap provider for more assistance.

had swollen glands and inflamed throat. seems better today. sucking soothers to help dry mouth. does that mean it's getting better. was on antibiotics?

Probably yes: If it feels better, undoubtedly it indeed is clearing up.  Complete your antibiotic as it was prescribed. Don't stop early even if your symptoms clear up entirely, unless your doctor says otherwise.

recently i had enlarged circumvallate papillae i've taken antibiotic, did mouthwash and took antibacterial tablets and nothing? i have a weird mouth taste and my mouth is dry most of time what'swrong?

Self medication: Self medication is counter-productive and may be dangerous.  Enlarged papillae doesn't mean that they are infected (so antibiotic's wrong) or inflamed (so mouthwash's wrong).  See professionals, both your Dentist and your Physician.  What you think are large papillae may be normal, or may have a physical cause.  Weird taste and dry mouth may be due to meds, systemic disease, syndrome.  See Pros.

Thrush: If you have been on antibiotics, it could be thrush, which is a fungal infection due to the exposure to antibiotics. There is a simple antifungal medicine that your doctor can prescribe.

i was on amoxicillin 3x a day for 10 days. i have developed a white, dry tongue that hasnt gotten better with nystatin swish & spit & have been dealing w/ diarrhea at least once a day. i finished my antibiotics a week and a half ago.what could it be?

: Dry mouth is listed as one possible side effect of the tetanus vaccine. It is not listed as a serious side effect, and usually it is self-limited. The problem should get better within a few days. If it does not, Contact your primary care doctor. Good luck.

Post concussion: Post concussion have a lot of symptoms  headache, dizziness, nausea, inattention, memory loss, etc

dry mouth is not one of them.

Mouth rinses: Mouth rinses can help, but check if any of medications are responsible and if there is an underlying process.
