Cone bx ?'s: A cone biopsy can be extensive enough to sever blood vessels which will continue bleeding.  Ask your gyn surgeon who performed the biopsy about cautery with a cryo device or hot cautery which should stop the continued bleeding.  You may require additional sutures to stem this kind of bleeding.  Not sure why antibiotics are used from the information provided.

Dosing per day: Well in a perfect world we could take the medication on an exact basis -for example 3 times a day would be every 8 hrs in a 24 hr period. This is because medications have a "half-life" in the body which means over time the body will get rid of it, so u have to take it again. Problem is, the daily routine can get in the way-- consider sleeping for example and how much time that eats up. Try ur best

Not common, but: The best thing to do is talk w/ your doctor. Ask for full info on what your infection is, what the medication will do and what to expect and concerns to watfch for. If you have any serious side effects, let them know asap. You might get a hand-out or take good notes. Be a team member w/ the doctor - it will work best. This drug is widely used and considered to be reasonably safe as prescribed. Ok?
