Tylenol (acetaminophen) : Narcotics can be used for severe situation.
The non steroidal s have more interactions
patches- fentanyl may be useful.
Talk to your doc or pharmacist to review entire list of meds/ prescribed or over the counters!

Unlikely: Nodular tenosynovitis( " trigger thumb") is unlikely to be improved w/ a squeeze ball. In fact, it may make some trigger thumbs lock more often! consider having a trained health professional give  u an injection in the " a1" pulley. This can help tremendously. If not , consider seeing  an ors  for pulley release.

Depends: On what you mean by "joints maintence drugs" many otc fda non regulated preparations have been purported to have positive effects on osteo or rheumatoid arthritis by the multibillion dollar suppliment industry. Most do not work, and are a total waste of money. If you are referring to rx. Nsaia, ie prescription antiimflammatants, then the answer is yes. These drugs have been shown to be effective.

Aspirin Allergy: Some persons with Aspirin allergy are allergic to all Aspirin related products while others are allergic only to specific products. Typically tylenol (acetaminophen) -acetominophen can be taken safely by all persons with Aspirin allergy. Most Aspirin related products block cox1 & cox 2 enzymes. Some persons with Aspirin allergy can take selective cox-2 blockers such as celebrex.  Consult an allerist to be safe.

NSAID allergy: Voltaren (diclofenac) is a member of the group of anti-inflammatory medications called non-steroidals.  Some patients with reactions to these react to several of them, and some react only to a particular one. People who react to many can usually still receive a medication called trilisate or choline magnesium trisalicylate. It does not cross-react with Aspirin or other nsaids. Steroids can also be used.

TMJ: Cracking sound that clears with anti-inlammatory meds may be Temporomandibular Joint Disorder.
