Neither : The BUN and creatinine are normal and the ratio is not important in your labs. The numbers are as good as they get. A good physical exam and history is needed to determine the cause of your ankle edema. The numbers don't point to kidney disease and  work up heart disease need to see your MD.

Edema: It sound like fluid retention (edema). This can have many causes and you need to have your doctor or cardiologist evaluate the possible causes.

The : The good news is that your heart is not failing, which would have been detected on the ultrasound of your heart. When this occurs your heart does does pump blood effectively which ultimately results in fluid accumulation in your lower extremities.
As far as why you have swollen ankles/legs its hard to say. You may need to decrease your salt intake. Also if you have any pain, redness, or tenderness in your leg(s) then your doctor may need to do an ultrasound of your lower extremities in order to rule out blood clots.
I suggest you schedule a follow up visit with your doctor in order to investigate this problem further.

Low pressure, : Water leaks out of the vessels and can not be pumped out of the legs due to low pressure. Low pressure also reduces the blood flow to the kidneys, resulting in activation of hormones that cause fluid retention.

Go to ER now!: A painful swollen let and foot after surgery can be due to a clot in your leg, or a serious infection.  Please go to an ER now to get seen and treated. cCots in legs can lead to clots in lungs, a very dangerous complication.

CHF: If you have right sided failure then swelling of your feet can be part of the picture. Some medications can also cause lower extremity swelling. Your doctor can advise you given having more knowledge of your diagnosis and treatment.

: In mild case, it will only happen in prolonged standing. However, in advanced cases, leg edema (leg swelling) persists throughout the day, somewhat improved in early morning when you just woke up then it gets worse as the day progresses. Activity without prolonged standing may help the edema. In general, most leg edema, regardless the cause, gets worse with prolonged standing due to gravity.

Hmmmmmm....: One sided swelling has a lower likely hood of being heart related.  If the heart doesn't work right the effects will be of all downstream structures.  There are one sided likely problems... Dvt and vascular flow interferences..... Come to mind.  Many others exist...... See your doctor first......

Two causes that come: to my mind, without any injury (fall or something heavy falling on the foot or ankle) are Gout or Pseudogout. Others include maybe an insect bite.
See your PCP to have a blood test and even some fluid removed from the swollen part might provide an answer(Dx).
