Most likely yes: Anacin contains acetylsalicylic acid and caffeine.  Caffeine will raise blood pressure.  That said, if your doctor has not told you to avoid caffeine then you should be fine.

Yes: avoid daily use of Anacin - its a NSAID- can cause ulcers, antagonize HTN, and cause kidney problems if taken at high doses on a long term basis.

Do you need to?: If your counts are in the normal ranges you don't need to improve them. If any of 5 parameters is low, which requires a semen analysis, talking with a md familiar with this will be your most efficient and effective plan. There are no medicines, prescription or otc, that reliably improve sperm function.

Therapy can help: Medication is almost always needed. Force of will gets undermined by the disease itself. How can you monitor yourself 24 hours a day. It causes too much distractibility for that to be a reasonable solution except in the mildest of cases.

Yes, you can: You have a brand of tretinoin (Retin A). It will continue to be effective for many years. Even if it is a bit less potent it will work just as well. Different products are more stable or less with time. This is also dependent on the temperature at which they are kept.

i started my arv treatment in august and was also prescribed to take purbac strength medication. i take all this medication at the same time everyday, what do the purbac strength do and how long will i take them?

SMX-TMP for HIV: Purbac (co-trimoxazole) is sulfamethoxazole + trimethoprim (SMX-TMP). It is prescribed to HIV infected persons with immune deficiency, to prevent pneumocystis pneumonia, which can be very serious. Your doctor probably intends you to take it indefinitely; or until ARVs improve your immune system. Definitely do not stop taking it; discuss with your doctor at your next clinic visit. Good luck!

Call your doctor!: It would be very, very, very uncommon for Prozac alone to directly adversely affect muscle strength! there are however drug drug interactions and electrolyte changes that can occur with medications like fluoxetine. You should make your physician aware of this episode without delay.

drs what should i do now.?

It depends: Your physician gave you an antibiotic, an antihistamine, and an anti-inflammatory for serous otitis (fluid in the middle ear) from infection, allergies, or virus. If you have pain or fever then you may have an infection that requires a different antibiotic. Otherwise just an antihistamine or NSAID alone (both are available over the counter) or together will help until it resolves in a few weeks.

why is it ok to take a prescription strength medication for example an 800 motrin&not healthy to take four 200mg motrin otc? what is the difference?

Monitoring: The only difference is at higher, prescribed dosing, your physician can discuss with you side effects to monitor for and precautions as the likelihood of those side effects increase with increased dosage. While you may be able to tolerate 800mg for periods, it may cause a severe stomach bleed in others and physicians need to monitor these issues for patient safety. Hope that helps!
