Elavil (amitriptyline): Techically, elavil (amitriptyline) can have anticholinergic effects which can theoretically raise blood pressure. However, the dose is so small, that I doubt this is the cause of the elevated reading. Recheck the BP manually after 5 min resting in a seated position. Discuss with your doctor discontinuing the elavil (amitriptyline).

was on amitriptyline 10mg, doc wanted to reduce it to half because i was constipated. been 5 days at half, and now experiencing diarrhea. ibs? i've had normal colonoscopy, blood work, xray. worried.

May have to : Adjust your dose up-and-down according to whether you have constipation or diarrhea. It does indeed sound like given what has gone on and I am aware of your past history, that this is ibs. There&#x27;s no need to be worried. I would talk to your doctor about the option of adjusting the Amitriptyline between five and 10 mg to manage your symptoms. Best wishes.

Soft tissue injury: 26 y male with headaches resistant to dx and Rx.  Muscle tension HA&#x27;s can cause. Check for asymmetry of mass and tone of superior traps. Head usually slightly tilts to side of the weakest and less toned superior trapezius. Concern for remote shoulder injury on weak muscle side wherein chronic pain resides.
