Doubt it!!: You are talking about the ingredient in the fiber laxatives like metamucil and a bunch of others. I don't know of any interaction they can have with Celexa (citalopram) or any other antidepressant.

citalopram 20 mg at bed & zofran (ondansetron) 8 mg twice a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. should i worry about the "major" interactions.

Can't oblige you: Celexa (citalopram) & Baclofen used together can cause excessive or prolonged central nervous system and respiratory depression. Also, recently reports on higher doses of Celexa (citalopram) noted possible irregular heart rhythms. If you are taking any other meds, there may other significant interactions. Sorry we can't provide you with the info you'd like to hear.

i take 40 mg of citalopram - it causes frequent reflux. i was told to just use over the counter meds which work well but i am concerned about any interactions ghat could occur. what would be a betterchoice?

Take with fatty food: If that does not help I would suggest change to a similar med like zoloft -I do not recommend it is a good choice to load up on other meds to treat SE

No.: Not that i know although when taken together, you may experience sedation so it could affect your reflexes in driving  or in performing any hazardous activities. You know that you should not have any alcoholic beverages on both medications.

MD can explain: An md might prescribe Celexa (citalopram) and adipex togther, especially if the benefits stand a cgood chance of outweighing the risks--these being an increase of adipex side-effects, such as agitation and rarely, more serious, new side effects. He/she can explain the rationale, and frequency of increased side effects, and what to look out for.

No: Macrobid is an antibiotic for treating bacterial infections ( remember to finish all antibiotics regimen). Celexa (citalopram) is generally used  as an antidepressant.. It works best if taken consistently. Watch for drowsiness/dizziness and do not stop abruptly. Take care.

No : After looking on epocrates, no interactions are noted between Tums and celexa (citalopram).  For complete safety, always check with the pharmacist when a new medicine is added, even if it is over the counter.
