Get tested: Bleeding like that can be associated with many things.  Could be a period, could be early implantation bleeding, or could be signs of early miscarriage.

Doing a pregnancy test would be the first test to do.  Then see your gyn.

Possible: Wait another week and check first AM urine with home pregnancy test. It could also be dysfunctional uterine bleeding which is common with hormonal shifts even with stress. Trying to conceive can be stressful which works against you. Easier said than done, but try to relax. Many couples conceive after adoption because the pressure is off. Follow up with your fertility specialist, too. Take care.

See Gynecologist: Although you could try a pregnancy test, it is sometimes not sensitive until after you miss your first period. A test exists to measure the exact amount of HCG in the blood stream and may be a more accurate test in an early pregnancy to determine if you are or aren't pregnant. The alternative is to wait for a month and see if your period happens normally.

Spotting; 10 days : Implantation bleeding is more of spotting rather than frank bleeding. You may do hpt about 10-14 days after that, though it would be better to wait 4-5 days after missed period to do the hpt, use first morning urine and follow the instructions in the kit carefully.

Period most likely: Most likely it is period and may be effected by taking Plan B three times
if you are serious about not getting pregnant and sexually active.I will suggest you go on birth control pills or an iud.Discuss with your gynecologist if you like.

Test again next week: If a home pregnancy test is positive in 1 more week, congratulations (if you like cute little babies)! That means a little baby is on the way. However, miscarriages are a normal part of life, so some pregnancies will not survive to term. If next week's test is positive, one can make a routine appointment with her Ob-Gyn doctor for more instructions.
