Oral allergy: This is very common, it is an oral allergy and is not a life threatening one. You must have seasonal allergies too. It can also happen with other fresh fruits and vegetables. Once processed or cooked, the protein changes shape and your body does not recognize it to react to it. Keep eating them cooked.

It is good for: Your health to eat tomatoes.  
Tomatoes contain lycopene which is an antioxidant that fights free radicals (helps to prevent cancer).  When you cook tomatoes it significantly increases the amount of bioavailable lycopene.

No: if you are allergic to milk you cannot have any product made with milk.  If you are allergic to tomatoes, you cannot have anything containing tomatoes.

Possible allergy: You don't want to jump to conclusions, but it sounds very suspicious for development of an allergy. There are many different types of tomatoes, so it may not be to all of them. It also might be a preservative or other coating on the tomato that he was sensitive to. Seeing an allergist can confirm or rule out an allergy. Otherwise, be careful if giving tomatoes or tomato based sauces.

Saute tomatoes over low heat in olive oil to increase absorption of lycopene. Slice broccoli into small pieces, sprinkle with lemon juice, let sit for 5 min. Tomato cramps: Probably not. Tomato products are notorious for giving reflux symptoms.
