Blisters: Delayed-type chemical sensitivity caused by blood cells that have become allergic can cause skin blistering reactions. A good example is poison ivy sensitivity.

Probably not: If you had an allergic reaction to something it would probably be more than a single blister.  Allergic reactions create all kinds of signs...Like overall bumps on your body, tongue swelling or worst of all...Anaphylactic reaction which could be deadly.  If you think you are allergic to amoxicillin...Put it down on your health history for the doctor.  And if you wish go to an allergist for testing.

Possibly, see derm: Although this might very well be an allergy to the lip balm, it could also be an infection, such as yeast or herpes. See dermatologist for confirmation and tx.

i have a few areas on my lips that start off as red and inflamed and later develop small blisters. i also have sores inside my mouth that are not canker sores. could they be cold sores or possibly an allergic reaction?

Allergic: If it doesn't hurt, you need not to worry about it. If it does hurt you, you can ask your dentist a prescription mouth wash to sooth the pain.

Although you gave us some good information, without knowing exactly what was done and used from the dentist's perspective, it could be an allergic reaction or a combination of factors.  You should notify the dentist and he\she will be able to give you the best answer and advice going forward for the future.

i have these small bumps that appear on my top lip. they come and go , i notice they come most when i use liogloss or really any lip oil on my lips. they dont hurt or tingle or itch , theyre just there. unsure if its an allergic reaction or what?

: This may be due to an intolerance of the lip gloss rather than a rip roaring allergic response. If seen bees wax containing lip balms do this. There are also other unnamed ingredients in lip balms that could be the culprit. Perhaps a dermatologist could advise you better if he/she examined your lip bumps.

Chemical allergy: Blood cells in your body can become reactive to chemicals that are placed on your skin. You may be able to find a product that does not contain the chemical to which you are allergic.

Medication: Either an antihistamine or a steroid or both, depending on the severity of the reaction, can aid in reducing the swelling. Your physician needs to prescribe these meds.
