Also, as you note - it is a way of life that (at the extreme of addiction) certainly involves disorders. Last i heard, 12-step programs were still the most successful way to deal with addictions of all types. Good luck!

More Pills?: I have several friends with the same struggle. Two have won the battle with the help of aa and modern medicine. Start with aa in your area and believe you want to win the battle as my two friends have then seek out good therapy to discover why you are depressed. It could be a chemical imbalance or just something that needs to be resolved from within. Enjoy the journey, win the battle, be free/hppy.

Eye: it may be due to anxiety and you may not recognize this. try to relax and it should gradually improve. If it doesn't then let a physician have a look at you

what could be the cause of chronic(1 year) persistent minimal sputum in the throat that couldn't be coughed out in a 25 year old ? this sputum is only cleared by forceful cough followed by swallowing. no risk factors -smoking, alcohol, drug, disease?

: Gastroesophageal reflux disease, or GERD, can cause this sensation as well as cough. Have the person seen by a doctor because this can be treated by medication. Staying upright for at least 30 minutes after eating is also helpful. A doctor can explore other causes of these symptoms as well so see a doctor ASAP! Good luck!

For obvious reasons: We don't wish to opine on means of suicide in a public forum. This question would best be asked of the coroner who consulted, or your own personal physician. Every suicide is painful, if not for the victim, then to varying degrees by the survivors. Best wishes.

Several factors need to be considered; age, gender, body weight, disease states, ethnicity, type of alcohol, amount of consumption, frequency of consumption, and of course, other medications.  To change the way alcohol affects, you might consider changing habits of consumption.

Grade school ages: This is a parental education responsibility, as part of teaching your ethics / morals / values--you need to demonstrate as well as preach moderation with alcohol and avoidance of drugs of abuse.
