Grade school ages: This is a parental education responsibility, as part of teaching your ethics / morals / values--you need to demonstrate as well as preach moderation with alcohol and avoidance of drugs of abuse. Peer pressure assault can come at any time, so child with solid footing on why not to experiment / use is the safest.
