Alcohol clearance : there are generally few factors on clearance of alcohol.  1.  Quantity of consumption.  2.  Height and weight 3. Urine Drug Screening: Nope. And if the urine is too dilute it will be discarded and you will be asked to provide another one or have a failure.  The tests now a days are nearly impossible to beat.  It is best to get into recovery and get happy about it.

Blood : Blood alcohol concentration (bac) is the most accurate way to determine alcohol levels.  My understanding is that when alcohol is measured through urine it is more to determine the presence or absence of alcohol rather than an exact level.   Most laboratories  have to adhere to rigorous standards with both internal and external monitoring  to be certified.  Reportedly sugar or acetone in urine have the potential to effect a urine alcohol screen.  If you think that this that there was a false positive on your alcohol screen, i suggest you obtain legal advice.

Diuretic: Alcohal is a potent diuretic resulting in frequent urination and dehydration - the best prevention is adequate fluid replenishment: every alcohalic beverage is best accompanied and followed with non-alcohalic fluid.  If your urine appears heavy or dark yellow ("amber"), you're probably "dehydrated.".

100% unless...: The typical urine tox screens are only + if someone is acutely intoxicated. It takes the healthy liver one hour to metabolize 1 standard drink (1 standard drink = 5 oz wine or 12 oz beer). There are a couple more tests, however, which can detect alcohol up to 5-7 days (Urine ethyl glucuronide test) and up to 30 days (Serum phosphatidylethanol test) after consumption.

: If you are diabetic, the glucose in urine could be fermented by yeast to produce alcohol may give a false positive result, especially if urine sits at for some time before testing.

i started suffering from red blood on my stool coupled with pinkish urine. i drink alcohol but dont smoke and have a previous history of breast and colon cancer in both of my grandparents. i also have ehlers danlos syndrome but dont suffer with it.

Blood/fecal: Difficult without more history, but blood externally on stool is usually due to small tears in the lining of the colon/rectum and is common with constipation. Breast and colon cancers usually do not produce external blood on the stool, but it would be wise to get a colonoscopy or a FIT test to ease concern.  Pinkish urine can come with a urinary tract infection, but not from breast/colon disease.

Please clarify: You are asking if a urine sample taken before you drank alcohol would pick up the alcohol you would drink later?  That makes no sense.
