Try his book for it: If you both were pleased with his help on smoking, continue with his ideas on alcohol. Why switch from a winning strategy? The size of the glass matters of course and the issue of compulsion does too. So does her size, activity level, consumption w/ food, etc. But read his book - it's available to buy online. Best

There is hope: There are a multitude of systemic and liver based therapies that can treat bowel cancer both in the eu and us. . Survival is a function of will, tumor biology and cancer physician resources/expertise. Shun those who don't think outside the box.

No: The bony structures involved in scoliosis do not put a scar into the lungs on a chest x-ray. They are physically separate locations. The rib cage that surrounds the lungs can have an altered appearance, and shift things around some, but the lung tissue inside is seen as a separate space.

4 to 6 weeks: Give yourself 4 to 6 weeks.  If you still feel bad, get a calcium  level.

Can't tell online: Have you had  a period yet? If so, you are ovulating. If not, maybe. There's no exact formula: if you'v not had a period in the next 8 weeks, check with your doctor.

You didn't : mention whether it's a knee, shoulder, elbow or other joint that was operated on. Swelling indicates you're probably doing too much. Stop and rest the joint. Take NSAIDs to help the swelling go down. When it's gone start slowly and gradually with LIGHT weights. Elliptical machines are safer than free weights. Allow plenty of time between sessions. If swelling returns stop. Go Slow!

It is possible: If you have the right treatment, usually we start with anti-inflammatory and physical therapy and possible injection if not improved.
Surgery could take a part if there is no improvement.

Bleeding vs menstrat: If partial hysterectomy should not have menstruation. Bleeding could be other medical problems and this needs to be ab evaluation. You need to see the physician

May not be true : When you say the hernia is back, it is difficult to know in what capacity. Barium swallow frequently shows a "hernia", but the test has limitations, and it is usually small and not clinically significant. Typically, anti reflux procedures are primarily done to relieve heartburn and regurgitation. If the symptoms are better, no need to repeat an operation. Also may want to consider Stretta If the reflux symptoms are back.

A month: It will take 4 to 6 weeks to start feeling no pain or swelling.  In can take months for your surgical scar to get back to a point where it s not so noticeable.
