Tinnitus treatment: We check for underlying causes such as earwax occluding the ear canals, hearing loss due to history of loud noise exposure or age-relates, medications, high blood pressure, head/neck injuries, head/neck tumors, TMJ disorder,  etc.
Treatments will depend of whether the cause of tinnitus is treatable or not.

Tinnitus: What you are describing is tinnitus.Tinnitus is very common and usually but not always associated with hearing loss (usually a high frequency loss). I would recommend getting a hearing test at your local ent's office. Unfortunately, there is no cure for tinnitus.

CSF?: When i hear clear fluid from the ear, i worry about spinal fluid leaking through a hole in one's eardrum. If that is the case, this needs to be fixed surgically. Depending on location and size, it can be done through an ear surgery (transmastoid) or needs to be done through a craniotomy.

First aid: For a minor laceration, wash it with soap and warm water, apply pressure to stop bleeding, apply an antiseptic such as Bacitracin or neomycin (both sold over the counter) and apply a clean dry dressing or just leave it open to air to heal.

Glue ear in a 3 yo: "glue ear" is persistent presence of fluid in the middle ear. Almost all children get ear infections, many will have fluid left over after the infection heals.  2 reasons for surgery: 1) evidence of significant hearing impairment interfering w language (very rare); and 2) frequent acute ear infections. Placing tubes usually reduces these for a year or 2 till they fall out. The surgery is safe.

Eustachian tube: The changing pressure outside causes the trapped air in the space behind your eardrum to push or pull on the eardrum membrane. Fortunately there is an opening at the back of you upper throat that allows air in and out of this space to equalize the pressure once some pressure difference builds up. Swallowing opens up the channel. Nasal congestion can block it causing pain. Decongestants may help.
