Chilling' out: For some folks, cold can make their airways spasm and narrow ("bronchospasm"). This is like the reaction that people with asthma have. If this happens all the time (and you really like eating or drinking cold things), consider using an inhaler.

Could be: While it could be, it's not likely. What is certain is that you need a test called EGD - you need to see a gastroenterologist for this. You sound like you have a stricture that would benefit from being dilated.

Some possible: things.
cannot say in your particular case, but generally, there is some irritaiton with any respiratory infection. This leads to increased susceptibility to other inflammation. Basically, it's like asthma but temporary. Singulair (montelukast) often helps the symptoms and speeds healing of inflammation of the respiratory tract.

my 1 year old daughter is coughing, her chest seems to be heavy. she throws up when she eats .she throws up something that looks like mucus. she has a lot of runny mucus down her nose.she doesnt want to drink her bottle it looks like she cant breath?

Get to ER...: Shortness of breath in a 1year old can be a very serious symptom and a baby can get much worse very fast. You need to get the baby to an ER right away and have her evaluated. Many different illnesses can be the cause of the symptoms you describe but this can become life-threatening if not treated quickly. Call rescue and get the baby to an ER immediately. i have been feeling chest discomfort right behind my breast bone, more towards the right side of my chest, after eating. got mostly better after taking a tums and drinking water. i have anxiety also and sometimes feel like i cant take a deep breath?

C/p SOB s/p caffeine: You may have reflux as all the beverages you mentioned can increase reflux and cause gastritis .Would also check for H pylori a bacteria in the stomach that can exacerbate gastritis. Would avoid these products . Consider trying famotidine over the counter to help with  reflux.  Caffeine can increase anxiety. Rarely  other- cardiac -MVP (mitral)F/u/w/ MD

Cold water: Dont worry. The esophagus is  right behind the trachea( where you breathe) , so the cold likely transmits when you breathe in due to  the negative pressure - like a wind. In fact when people have high temperature we cool them down by giving lukewarm water to the stomach( cold can cause shivering)

why does my chest hurt after drinking alochol, and it's sometimes hard to breath?

Reflux: You are likely suffering from significant acid reflux--alcohol will really make this worse.  I see you are on advil/pepto-bismol.  These two medications can irritate your stomach and should be discontinued if possible.  Taking an omeprazole over the counter daily will be helpful to treat this.  Avoid spicy foods and alcohol which can exacerbate your symptoms.

overdose inhaled bleach fumes in bathroom for more than 30minute. im having difficulty to breath and when cough my upper chest tighten and painful like dying. what should i do to relieve the chest pain? can drink warm water relieve the pain?

Fresh air: Go out into the fresh air. Open windows and ventilate the area where you sprayed the chemical before going back in there. Drink water, if you feel like it. If cough, chest pain or breathing problem persists after 30 minutes in fresh air, go to the nearest emergency room.
