adrenal tumors most of the time are symptomless and non cancerous.Rarely there is adrenal cortex carcinoma and need treatment, it is quite rare.Can cause pain, treatment may include surgery, chemotherapy and/or radiation.

Yes and probably no.: About .09 percent of adults seem to have congenital absence of the gallbladder. Very important that this is known if you are evaluated for abdominal pain since not seeing the gallbladder can mean a scarred inflamed gb requiring removal. If the gb is absent and the surgeon doesn't know there can be severe  damage done to the bile ducts during laparoscopic surgery for gb removal.

Variable: Most adrenal masses are benign tumors called adenomas. These can be diagnosed with certainly if they have enough internal fat that the MRI can see it. If there isn't enough fat in the tumor for that diagnosis then primary tumors of the adrenal gland and metastases have to be considered. Sometimes needle biopsy is required to sort it out. Symptoms are variable..Too many factors.

Adrenal failure: Need many more details. Why did she only have one adrenal?  A hemorrhage into the adrenal is possible but rare.  What would happen if remaining adrenal was knocked out the would see immediate fall in BP, Rise of blood K, lost of lots of salt and water in urine. and shock. Got to wiki and look up adrenal crisis. But if she just bled from adrenal with destroying would see slower bleeding into area.
