Shaving: Please be sure you have a new razor. please wash your face prior to shaving. If continues, get tested for MRSA- you should not need an antibiotic for shaving. Suspect infected razor but see a dermatologist for testing if it persists

Lab test: Staph is a common germ for the skin surface &amp; many carry various strains including MRSA in their nasal passages. It randomly contaminates fingers &amp; can be places anywhere you touch, including the face. Staph tend to form self contained abscesses of varying sizes. The only way to know for sure if it is would be a culture of the extruded pus. Local surgical drainage is often curative.

Maybe: I needed to take systemic tetracycline until i was in my mid-40's.  The important thing is that no youngster nowadays needs to have bad acne.  There are a variety of approaches; i start with topical clindamycin, try a systemic antibiotic that the person can take if this fails.  For the toughest cases, dermatologists have Accutane and lasers.  Good luck -- and good health.

Time to go in: Time to go see a doctor.  You're too young to be this sick with a high fever.  Go see a doctor.  Also, it is not a good idea to smoke and be on birth control pills - that can lead to fatal blood clots.

Unrelated: Hayfever (allergies), changes in blood counts and acne are largely unrelated.

If it gets infected: If you develop a sinus infection along with the allergies it could trigger acne.  Stress, lack of sleep and hormones also cause acne and this may  coincide with your circumstances.

i am being treated for rocky mountain spotted fever.  now i have horrible acne...is this from the bacteria? i have never had acne in my life.

Any other meds?: Usually rmsf is treated with antibiotics like Doxycycline which is actually helpful for acne. If there was any corticosteroid like Prednisone added to the treatment, that may cause acne breakouts. Usually those are monomorphous red pustules on face, chest & back. They will either subside by themselves after finishing steroids or will just need a topical antibiotic lotion. Please see dermatologist.

Doubt it: With true mastoiditis you should be sick, febrile, with swelling and discoloration. The mastoid is a projection from your skull that anchors various neck and face muscles. The site may have just added some bony mass  over time.Your doc can confirm this.

Yes: The potential that this is due to "food poisoning" is there, but might also be acute viral gastroenteritis or other illness.  This needs to be diagnosed by a doctor who can see and examine you.  Good luck.

PCOS: Pcos can cause increased hair growth and irregular periods you could have nausea at mid cycle occasionally but nausea could be due to metformin  reduced doses extended release forms or taking after meals should help you are 16 work on a good life style exercise low fat diet should help.
