i accidentally took 4 - 500mg tylenol pm just a few minutes ago. i am 63, weigh 400lbs, and take several prescriptions, for high bp, cholesterol, and allergies. i have a stomach band so throwing up isnt an option, what should i do?

: Avoid any further Tylenol for next 24 hours.  Be aware that you might get drowsy.  Do not drive or operate heavy machinery.

i took mucinex dm earlier today, is it safe to take tylenol pm  simply sleep now??

: Yes, it would be okay to take these together. Consider non-medicine treatments though, like chamomile tea. a humidifier. a hot shower to relax, etc.

Drug interactions.: Per Drugs.Com drug interaction checker, combining metoprolol with the diphenhidramine in Tylenol PM could cause " lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate" This does not mean it would occur, it just increases the chances. Melatonin is another option for sleep.

Tylenol overdose: It depends on when you had your last dosage, the current state of your liver, and the number of milligrams you took. 4 Grams within 24 hours is concerning. If you feel weak, nauseous, and have abdominal pain you should definitely get yourself 
evaluated as soon as possible. You should follow up with your physician regardless. Following directions as prescribed is crucial to preventing an overdose.

i took 4 tylenol pm and 2 melatonin 10 mg in a3 hour time frame. can i go to sleep and be okay. i didnt realize more than 2 tylenol was a problem in 34 hrs. no scared to fall asleep?

: If you do not have problems of alcohol and liver disease, though you have taken high dose of Tylenol pm, it is not going to cause any major problem. You can sleep. Ask a family member or a friend to check on you by phone or in person in 4 hours. Hope it helps.

i took two 50mg unisons by accident how harmful is that. ive been taking tylenol pm before that on a regular and would take two so not thinking i automatically did it?

No harm, no worry: Unisom's active ingredient is diphenhydramine, a mild sedative (and anti-allergic drug). The higher dose is no problem. You might sleep a bit longer, and be careful the next morning driving, operating machinery, etc. Otherwise nothing to worry about.

: There should not be any problem taking Tylenol pm 12 h after tramadol. Take meds as recommended, keep chemical load at a minimum.

Drug interactions:  There is possibility of a moderate drug interactions per Drugs.Com drug interaction checker- "Using diphenhydramine together with baclofen may increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, and difficulty concentrating." Tylenol PM contains diphenhydramine

Even the manufacturers of Tylenol do not recommend taking more than six tabs in a 24 hour period due to the risk of liver injury.  This was recently *lowered* from the maximum of eight tabs.

Not good idea: Not good idea to take so much Tylenol. Why do you need so much?
