Treatment: I do not how long out you are from your injury, but typically these are managed conservatively.  However, if you persist to have a nonunion with your fracture your surgeon can repair this.

Pain, numbness, swelling, extra bleeding, and other symptoms often occur after surgery.  Depending on what was done for you, these symptoms may be usual, or may require extra attention and follow-up care. It is important that you stay in good communication with them

AC separation: Grade 3 ac separations will generally heal in 6-8 weeks.  It may, however, take you longer to be comfortable lifting weights with your arm.  Working out may often require 3 months of rest.

Steroid injection : The pain and inflammation can often be effectively managed by AC steroid injection every 3-6 months. The Perioperative morbidity from a straightforward arthroscopic AC joint excision is quite low. The "down time" can be very short. After a week or so of "soft tissue rest," you will likely be able to advance as tolerated with motion and strength if surgery becomes indicated.

Not surgical: Grade 2 ac seperation is usually managed with conservative management, not surgery. You might benefit from some physical therapy and can use nsaids for pain control.
