I did not come: Across any such thing . However , use of Cocaine  or similar drugs can cause what you described and have stroke or heart attack.

Probably not related: I don't know how a headache could have caused a bleed on the surface of the eye, unless you had vomiting with the headache. The broken blood vessel is self limited, and is not dangerous.

i had a mri done on my spine and brain. and it came back abnormal. i am asked to do a angiogram, wht could this mean. i have a cluster or blood vessel?

Answering why: Most doctors rule out or ensure the absence of life threatening events.  A typical problem with a tumor that is cancerous is "angiogenesis"  which is developement of new blood vessels.  It does not mean that a cancer is there.  It means that bads things are ensured to not be there.

will the avastin prevent blindness or will it just postpone?

who is a candidate for laser tx for this dx? what is name of this dx?

Please repost: Please repost and include the answers to your questions given to you by the ophthalmologist who performs the Avastin injections, who - correct me if I’m wrong - most likely does visual acuity testing and OCT scans before each injection; or, if you have not asked your doctor these questions, please state why not.

Several names: An abnormal enlargement of blood vessels could be one of several things-simple enlargement would  be dilation.  Ectasia is an enlargement without the characteristics of an aneurysm.   An aneurysm can occur in both veins and arteries but it more common in arteries.  This is an enlargement that sort of looks like a bubble.  Of the three, aneurysm is the most significant.

Atherosclerosis: Atherosclerotic vascular disease is the majority cause of narrowing of the blood vessels....specifically arteries.  There are many risk factors that predispose to atherosclerotic disease.  These include smoking, hypertension, diabetes and high cholesterol.

Diabetic retina: Persistent uncontrolled blood sugar (uncontrolled diabetes) in many cases can lead to weakening of blood vessel walls in the retina of the eye and this can cause bleeding, vascular growth and other changes that can affect vision  You should work with your diabetic doc to keep the sugar under control and a blood level termed HbA1c at least below 7.0 to help protect the eye.

Step by step review: Being cold causes those symptoms in everyone.  If dressing warmly doesn't relieve them, did the onset of these symptoms follow the start of one of your medicines?  If those steps don't help solve the problem, then you need to discuss (with your physician) alternate causes, such as psychological issues.

NOT GOOD: If a major blood vessel in the neck, such as carotid or vertebral starts to get narrow, a process called stenosis, blood flow gets compromised eventually, and a stroke could ensue.  Certain percentages of narrowing dictate potential surgery or use of medications.  KEY issue is to do all possible to prevent a stroke.
