i had a ct scan 10 years ago due to headaches. it came back abnormal. it said a focal, well circumscribed area of low density is identified within the region of corpus. i did an mri after that and the results were normal. should i be worried?

MRI more sensitive.: The results of a brain MRI are more conclusive than the results of a CT scan, so if the MRI reading was correct, then you would have little to worry about.

cluster of lymph nodes on neck. ct scan shows nothing abnormal however i am still worried.do i irritate them if i keep touching them?

: You can watch and wait. You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. 
Occasional touching will not irritate the nodes.

i had a ct scan at a&e two days ago as i was worried about a bleed on the brain (or even a stroke) because of unusual throbbing pain in head and dizziness. the ct was okay but could it have missed a bleed or could it have happened since?

No and no: You have been evaluated re intracranial bleeds , you don't have them, now you can work with your doctor for the headache and dizziness, you may need referral to a neurologist, good luck

Medical Imaging: A ct scanner uses x-rays to create accurate images of the body. The patient lies on the ct table and it slowly slides in and out of the doughnut shaped ct scanner. The xray tube is inside of the ct scanner and rotates around the patient.

There : There are a huge variety of things that can be seen on a ct scan of the chest that are abnormal.  Some are dangerous and others are incidental findings.  You should be discussing the results of the ct scan with your doctor( the doctor that ordered the scan for you) to find out exactly what was found and what to do about it.  They are in the best position to explain what the results mean in the context of your symptoms or the reason the test was ordered.

ct scan showed gastritis, should i be worried? is it an easy fix?

Depends: Gastritis is mostly a clinical diagnosis. CT alone cannot diagnose gastritis. It can show apparent thickening of the stomach wall which may be normal or may represent gastritis or something else. Speak to your doctor to find out if your symptoms are consistent with gastritis. Usually treatment is straightforward.

i recently had a ct scan done the report said that had a 9cm lesion on my ovary. what is a lesion? and should  i be worried?

A "lesion": is another term for abnormality.  It doesn't imply anything about how serious it is.  A lesion can be benign and nothing to worry about, or more serious.  The word itself is neutral as far as what the abnormality is.  That said, a 9cm ovarian lesion(likely mass) needs to be evaluated further to rule out potential malignancy, although it is likely something benign.  Ultrasound is likely next step.

can a ct scan always show an atypical pneumonia?

Most of the time: Pneumonia is a clinical diagnosis. Xrays are usually 48 hrs behind the clinical manifestation of the disease. Diagnosis of atypical pneumonia, therefore is by clinic and could be confirmed by regular chest x ray and not ct scan. However ct scan is more detailed and more in line with clinical symptoms.

Yes: Ct is much more definitive than conventional xray. The xray findings may have been artifact.
