how much time does it take to get chest x-ray results?

Depends: chest xray images are ready at most institutions/facilities in minutes.  The radiologist will then generally read the study at some point that day, and the results would then be ready to the physician/provider who ordered the test.  Bottom line, should be ready fairly quickly in most situations.

i got my chest x ray results and it says hyper expanded lungs probably due to emphysema. what is the best test to rule out copd?

: You would need a pulmonary function test. In COPD, it would show obstruction that does not significantly improve after a bronchodilator is given. If it does not show obstruction, then there is no COPD. If it does show obstruction that improves w/bronchodilator, it is more likely asthma. If you smoke, you need to quit ASAP. See a lung doctor. chest x-ray results say curvilinear density in the r pericardial region. could represent fat pad or small r middle lobe infiltrate. lung cancer?

It is unlikely: that it is cancer, but it still may require further evaluation with a CT scan to be sure.  If you had any previous chest xrays elsewhere, have them sent to the radiologist to compare with the new one.  That could solve the issue without any additional tests.  Talk to your doctor about the results.

"Unremarkable": Common medical jargon for "no abnormality" or "normal".  There is nothing on the xray to remark on.

Depends : would need to hear the detailed report to be sure but this usually refers to evidence that someone had TB in the past and it has left a scar.  If you were treated for TB then likely nothing more will need to be done. If you have never been treated, you may need to be treated for either active or latent TB. This decision would be based on your history and symptoms.

Probably nothing: Scar tissues can be a common finding on chest x-rays which most probably does not have any significance. However it should be interpreted with clinical findings if any. Your doctor may be helpful in this.

More testing: neg. sputum smears do not exclude active TB, you need a quanterferon gold blood test and a bronchoscopy to exclude active TB
looking at an old CXR is also worthwhile
more history and symptoms are lacking in your question

Nondiagnostic: This x-Ray finding in and of itself is nondiagnostic and further evaluation will probably involve a chest ct scan. Your physician will review your chest x-Ray with the radiologist and decide what further imaging studies are advisable as the density behind the heart shadow could be an abnormal blood vessel or a growth. A cardiothoracic surgeon may also be consulted.
