Muscles age too but : You can still build strength but you need to take rests for muscle recovery and consider increasing weights decreasing the reps as you increase weight to build strength.  Your current way will keep you toned while your reducing  risk of injury.

Ideally: Ideal body weight for you is 120 pounds but anywhere from 100-150 is probably ok. 150 is right at overweight by BMI.

Possibly!: Compression of nerves and blood vessels can be caused by an extra cervical rib (above the first rib) or an abnormal tight band of tissue connecting the spinal vertebra to the rib. Many patients have injured the area in the past or overused the shoulder. Increased muscle mass can increase the chances of thoracic outlet syndrome. On the other hand, appropriate physical therapy may help relieve it.

Not Too Complicated: I lift weights too.And I've used all kinds of powders in the past and sometimes currently, depending on what i have to do next(go to work or go home for some actual food). But all you really need is one or two grilled chicken breasts, or a cup or two of low fat cottage cheese or low fat veggie patties.You get the drift. Add what you like to that protein core,like veggies or salad plus some fluids

Whey protein: Whey protein is good for you but please do not rely on it as a way of replacing a good diet.  The shakes can supplement the other protein, fat, and carbs you eat.  Please check out the product to see if the whey comes from grass fed/free range cattle or penned up cattle w/antibiotics.  Avoid the latter.  Peace and good health.  I am not familiar w/the particular brand you mention.
