Fruits & veggies: Fruits are among the most digestible of all foods -- they contain a lot of water.  Bananas, apples, pears, peaches, melons, berries & papayas are easy to digest.  Citrus fruits may irritate the stomach.  Veggies like potatoes, yams, carrots, beets, squash, and spinach are easy to digest, but beans & cruciferous ones like broccoli and cauliflower can be harder. http://tinyurl.com/m6ezvgd.

See answer: If healthy, no major change, other than the GB helps digest fats by secreting bile acids, so some people may have to decrease fatty meals, but most people have no issues at all.  The foods you mention would all be fine to eat and would not cause any issues when your GB was removed. I had my GB removed due to Stones years ago, and I did not have to change my diet at all. Glycemic index: Berries, cherries, apples and pears are all "low glycemic index" forms of fruit. They are also nutrient dense and must still be balanced out with heart healthy protein foods such as nuts.  Combining a starch with a higher protein food can slow the uptake of simple sugars and reduce the glycemic load. If you are a diabetic be very careful with portion size. Even low glycemic foods can inc glucose.

Fruit plus milk: No.  Your systems can assimilate this mix.  Not lactose intolerant, I presume.

Say "I'm not hungry": If you have a good, hearty breakfast, a good dinner, physically and emotionally well, there is no shame in saying I am not hungry--don't force-feed yourself. In the us of a, the fattest country in the world, we often eat too much. So, having self-discipline/restraint to keep yourself healthy is something to be proud of...Not shame. i knew dyes in food change colour,but i took dragon fruit on sunday until today wednesday stool still pinky red. possible that long?3days dyes in dragon fruits still not fully digest?

Pinky red stool.: Probably diet related if you want to be sure get your stool tested for blood.

Possible Allergy: You may not be able to digest certain foods. Try keeping a food diary and see if a pattern or certain food causes problems, if so , avoid. Also you may need to try digestive enzymes like beano for vegetables and lactaid for dairy products. Also make sure you are eating plenty of probiotic foods to aid in digestion as well.

i'm 7.5 weeks pregnant, my urine smells fruity. i am eating fruit but not much else. i try for one protein/veggie meal/day, and my digestion is terrible, leaving me very uncomfortable and nauseated. should i be concerned about the snell of my urine?

Ketosis: Hi, Katie. This may be an indicator of ketones in your urine. This may be a result of gestational diabetes or pre-existing diabetes. Please see your doctor promptly to confirm and/or rule out other causes of your symptoms.
