when sitting still, apple watch heart rate jumping from 90bpm to 39 to 80 to 45 etc within seconds. only stays at low bpm for 5 seconds or so. usually stays around 70-80bpm but then will start to have quick dips before stabilizing again. concerning?

: You're better off learning to take your pulse as you can't hang your hat on those rapidly fluctuating pulse rates. You'd need to wear an outpatient cardiac monitor for 24-48 hours to get accurate heart rates and rule out arrhythmias when your watch is demonstrating widely varying pulse rates. I think your watch isn't sensing accurately at times.

i am physically healthy, have an athlete's heart, low bpm and low blood pressure naturally. is taking beta blockers as an off label treatment for my anxiety safe or would it be risky considering my low blood pressure and low bpm?

Possibly risky...: Beta blockers can be very helpful in the management of anxiety, however, you would need close/careful monitoring if your blood pressure and pulse are already on the low side.  It would be best to discuss with your doctor to see if this is a safe option for you.

i have a very slow heart rate (44 bpm) and it beats irregular. should i worry?

Get an ECG /monitor: A normal heart rate is typically in the range of 60-100 at rest.  That said, many normal people can have deviations fom that.  A pathological heart rate/rhythm is best determined by an ecg/cardiac monitor.  Also-whether symptoms exist (like fainting or near-fainting particularly when you are trying to do something), your history (congenital heart problems, murmur/bp issues/mom w lupus)-cause block.

i've started carvedilol to slow heart rate. my bp has always ran low which made me very tired.today im very week. is this normal? :

Maybe: Carvedolol is a beta-blocker. This class of BP meds traditionally cause decreased heart rate and blood pressure. It is possible that you are feeling weak & tired because of the med and lowered blood pressure. You may get used to this, or you may be extra sensitive to this particular medicine. If you keep feeling tired & weak, you may need to lower the dose or change your medicine.

Need time: It takes 2 weeks for dose adjustments  stay with the current dose you will start to feel better and every time dose changes you will feel bad before you reach  your optimal dose.

Anxiety related: If your cardiac work up is normal, the extra PVC,s you seem to be having may be due to some genetic predisposition. Unless you are having symptoms due to frequently occurring PVC's, I would focus on any anxiety issues or emotional stress that may be exacerbating the problem. Relaxation Exercises would be a good idea. Feel better

See doctor: This is not normal. See a doctor as soon as possible. I would avoid working out until you get this condition evaluated and diagnosed.

Often normal: Sinus Bradycardia(HR &lt;60 bpm) is more common in athletes. During sleep it&#x27;s not unusual for HR to drop to 30 bpm at times. If you are not having symptoms such as dizziness or light headed no treatment is needed. It is common for physicians to order a cardiac ultrasound and an EKG stress test if there is any concern for a possible underlying heart condition. **See comments.
