Still developing: The fetus has already formed all of the organs/parts of the body.  However the cells are still developing for specialized function. You would recognize the fetus as a very small but formed infant with a heartbeat and capable of feeling pain.

Bowel Movements: Generally speaking, as long as your baby is reasonably comfortable while having a bowel movement, we don't have to worry to much about the form.

Normal poops: Baby BM's can be yellow, green or brown. Where breastmilk feeding babies have liquidy, seedy poops, formula fed babies may have more pasty or thicker poops. Sounds like your baby has normal poops.

No, not blue: Babies do not normally have blue stools. The stools are usually yellow or yellow-green. Blue would be odd, so a parent can take a fresh diaper with the blue stool to the doctor to look at. The doctor will want to know if the baby is happy, what the baby is eating, and whether or not the blue color occurs with 2 different brands of diapers.

Varies too much: If there are no medical problems to prevent breastfeeding, then breastfeeding is the goal. In nature, a mother would not and does not know how much a breastfed baby is eating. A 5-wk old eats when he wants to. That's the way it should be for normal, growing babies. Only if there is a problem do we calculate DAILY feedings (amounts vary greatly!!).... around 100-120 mL per kg of current weight.

Likely normal: The back of a babies head is made of thick bone and tolerates plenty of force.From the description you provide, I don't think it did any harm.It may have startled baby at the time, but if she's acting fine, just relax and enjoy. Its never easy with a baby.

Back: Studies have shown side sleeping is nearly as risky as belly sleeping, since most will not stay in that position even with weighted sand bags/swaddling.

Doubt it: You can consult with a dermatologist on the emerging treatments for skin lesions but I doubt you will find a good one. They can remove blood vessel marks deep in the skin with lasers that leave the surface alone, but café au lait spots are superficial &amp;  pigment related. Keep track of the size &amp; number of these as they emerge &amp; share this with his doc.

Why ?: Thickened formula is occasionally used as a treatment of reflux. It does not help a baby sleep longer.In fact, any feeding just prior to sleep trains a kid to need feeding to settle to sleep any time they awaken at  night and increases the risk of a long term sleep disturbance by 400%.
