Parotid mass: It could be a warthin's tumor from your description. It is a benign tumor but should be removed as it 'll continue to enlarge. See an ENT doctor.

Depends: If this is just a large ovarian cyst, they may be able to remove it and leave the rest of the ovary. If there is any chance that it is cancer then they would want to remove the ovary.

: Complex cyst. You should check with your urologist or doctor who ordered this test to see what the next step should be. The fact that it is a complex cyst often means a urologist will need to intervene to make sure she/he knows what type of cyst this might be.

Ovarian: I assume the report is describing an ovarian cyst which may be fluid filled. If so, your gynecologist is best qualified to evaluate and advise you. It is not clear if this is the cause of your abdominal discomfort since the discomfort is not in the pelvic area. Other imaging studies may be recommended.

Duplication cyst: Without images, difficult to tell, but some things in the differential are: duplication cyst, ovarian cyst, mesenteric cyst.

Please see your doctor and keep the GI consult.  If the report describes a "cystic mass", that can imply a soft tissue component - meaning it is not a simple cyst.

The radiologist who read the ct may need to be contacted by one of your physicians to clarify.

Need more info: Most pelvic cysts arise from the ovary and are benign. A simple cyst is a fluid filled sac that has very specific characteristics on ultrasound. These are always benign. However, not all "cysts" are simple. There are benign and malignant lesions that are "cystic", but are not simple cysts. Ask your doctor to clarify it for you.

A complex cyst has dividers (septae) running through it, or can be thought of as a collection of cysts. It like a collection of balloons packed together.
