Probably just post surgical, but occasionally an issue.
 Ekg can be helpful, echo can be helpful.
Enzymes in blood have likely cleared- and not useful now.

Stents long term: Stents do not last forever but the fact that his tests were normal likely they are doing OK. You should tell your Dr about his history and he should check his risk factors.  Many run in families.  Now is the time to be doing everything you can to reduce your own risk.  Diet will be key.
