Muscle strain: You have some form of muscular pain/myofascial syndrome. I suggest you give the pushups a rest for a while as you're just aggravating it.

Possibly fracture: If lump is hard it is possible that clavicle was fractured with some displacement. Abundant callus formation can occur forming a lump. Usually eventually remodels and lump becomes less prominent. Xray can confirm this finding. If lump is soft and mobile, possibly a lymph node in region reacting to different inflammatory regional processes. Sometimes node is painful if infected.

Can't: Best means to immoblize or rest or clavicle or collarbone is a sling.  Figure of eight harnesses have also  been used for fractures but there is no evidence to show that these are any better than a simple sling and are often times more cumbersome or uncomfortable.

: My impression is that the problem is chronic strain as well as overuse syndrome. Violent repetitive actions of your sport or workout regimen is not what nature intended. I think your entire shoulder region needs a rest from your boxing. If symptoms don't improve, consult a physician or orthopedic sports medicine specialist for evaluation &amp; any appropriate testing.
