Can't: Best means to immoblize or rest or clavicle or collarbone is a sling. Figure of eight harnesses have also been used for fractures but there is no evidence to show that these are any better than a simple sling and are often times more cumbersome or uncomfortable.

You do not: Compression bandaging or ACE wrap, is not appropriate for the collar bone. Treat the specific problem. A sling will protect the bone and its joints to some degree.
