i have a grade 3-5 ac joint separation, i'm 8 weeks post-injury. my clavicle pops out of place when i'm physicaly active, would you recommend surgery?

Only if painful: Most grade 3 ac separations become pain free after several months. At this point you would need a reconstruction which would not be any different if you wait. I would find a good shoulder surgeon to talk to.

Without : Without out further information, such as the events surrounding your injury, and a physical exam including radiographs, it is impossible to diagnose a shoulder separation.  See an urgent care clinic or emergency department for an assessment.

i have a pointy bone pertruding on top both shoulders. it looks like the collarbone runs straight across. is that shoulder separation/calcium buildup?

The AC joint: or acromioclavicular joint is the joint where your clavicle/collar bone joins the acromion of your scapula forming part of the shoulder joint. A common cause of prominence is a shoulder separation where the outer end of the clavicle has been displaced upwards following separation from the scapula, called an AC separation. Discuss with your doctor; little/nothing to do if no pain/limitation.

Muscle tightness: Assuming that cardiac reasons are ruled out, the pain you may be experiencing may be muscle tightness at the coracoid  process or experiencing costochondritis. You should have this evaluated by your pcp to make sure it's not anything more serious.

it's been 2 weeks since i broke my clavicle. is it advisable to walk & do sedentary, light tasks from the 3rd week onwards?

Yes: Avoid lifting or reaching above shoulder level until there are signs of healing on x-ray.  This commonly takes about 6 weeks.

Follow up...: It is difficult to know the significance of the report you describe without more history. 

A bone island is a small benign sclerotic focus in the bone, but you also mention low density areas in the clavicles, scapula and humeri. 

Be sure to follow up with your referring physician about the significance of these findings.

It depends: A bit of displacement is ok, generally more than 2 cm is open to question.
 Open reduction and plate and screw fixation used more and more foe complex or badly displaced fractures, as well as considerations of employment etc.

Gums: It sounds like you have gingival trauma or infection. Have your dentist look at the problem. All the best.

i managed to rectify diastasis recti with exercise after my 1st 2 pregnancies but 1 year on after my 3rd i still look 3mths pregnant. what can i do?

Surgery: The only way to correct that is with a very simple surgery that helps to bring the 2 sides of your linea alba together.  Very common for some women to have this problem, mostly to do with genetics, not amount of exercise or hard work a woman puts into stomach crunches or exercise.  If you need it, you need it.  Sometimes that rectus fasica can separate by 5-6".
